Until further notice KTFC will not be providing any program or training for any athletes.
Athletics Ontario has stated that they will not sanction any practices, the City of Kingston is not permitting any group bookings for its fields, public washrooms remain closed and there is no Covid-19 insurance for the Club. (Directors and Coaches would be personally responsible).
KTFC will not be operating as a club until restrictions are lifted .Unfortunately, we do not have any timelines. When the restrictions are lifted and we can safely meet all the requirements we look forward to providing a track and field program again .
Thank you for your cooperation.

From Athletics Ontario:
A national task force titled “Back on Track” has been formed to develop nation-wide guidelines and framework for the return to sport process. Documents explaining Athletics Ontario’s recommendations for the sport of athletics can be expected for distribution within the coming week.
As the ministry has stated, group activities shall only be undertaken if sanctioned by the governing provincial or national sport organization. At this time, group activities or training will not be sanctioned, nor endorsed by Athletics Ontario. AO’s training expectations will not be changing from previous communications until the national task force has provided further recommendations for a “phase one” roll out.
Athletics Ontario is fully committed to the health and safety of its members. As such, we appreciate your patience and understanding in knowing we are working diligently to create framework that ensures the utmost safety for all of our members.
As an AO sanctioned club, Kingston TFC will not proceed with group activities or training until sanctioned by Athletics Ontario.

The Government of Ontario has announced that track and field is a sport that can begin again.
In anticipation of re-opening CaraCo Field, KTFC has begun considerations to plan for a 2020 summer program. Safety of our Athletes and Coaches is our top priority and we will follow guidelines recommended by KFLA Public Health and Athletics Ontario, as well as the requirements of the City of Kingston for our practices.
The opening date of CaraCo Field will be determined by the City of Kingston.
While the KTFC Summer Season typically starts the 2nd week of June, our start date for 2020 will be dependent upon the above. Practice days and times for each age group will be posted on the website.
